Cancellation Policy

By booking a service with Nurtured Paws, you agree to the following policies designed to ensure the safety, clarity, and care of all clients, both human and canine. Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to your scheduled time; late cancellations may incur a 50% fee, and no-shows may be charged in full. Emergency or weather-related cancellations will be handled with flexibility and rescheduling options when possible. Payment is due before or at the time of service. Prepaid bundles are non-refundable but may be applied to services of equal value within 90 days. If we must cancel due to safety, health concerns, or weather, a full refund or credit will be provided. To maintain a safe environment, all pets must be non-aggressive and up-to-date on vaccinations, or provide a valid exemption. Behavioral or medical concerns must be disclosed during booking. We reserve the right to end any service early or refuse service if the safety of the sitter, the pet, or others is at risk. Nurtured Paws clients may receive a complimentary locally made dog treat or enrichment item with visits. Please let us know in advance if your pet has allergies or you prefer to opt out. Most services include a potty report, personalized note, and/or a photo update. By booking, you consent to your pet’s name or image being used in thank-you content or social media posts, unless otherwise requested in writing. An emergency contact is required for all services. While we take every reasonable precaution, Nurtured Paws is not liable for incidents related to undisclosed behavioral or health issues, unsafe home conditions, or acts of nature.
